Uncle Manolo and Joker

In Seville Tomás re-acquainted himself with his uncle Manolo and played with Manolo's dog Joker (Tomás loves dogs).

He moved to Seville

Here he is in the apartment of his abuela Virtudes - he is trying to ring home but hasn't quite mastered telephone technology just yet! having said that he has inadvertantly made several international phone calls already!!

He even ventured into the water

In Cádiz, he went into the sea - in this picture he is with his cousin Quique venturing into the waves for one of his first times and enjoying it. Later on, with his ring on he used to go out quite far and hated leaving the water.

Off with him to the beach!

Tomás left Ronda and headed of to the beach at Cádiz. The beach on the way into the town of Cádiz on the peninsula is an incredible beach - 7km long, fine, fine sand, flood-light by night and full of activities (free open-air cinema, Chiringuitos (beach bars), dance classes, volley ball, etc.).

Anyway, Tomás soon got into the beach way of life!

Even this got boring after a time

Even the swimming pool got a little boring for him after a while so out he climbed...

He soon graduated to the pool

Tomás wasn't long in the paddling pool when he wanted to get into the swimming pool. In this picture he is with his abuela (Spanish grandmother) Virtudes and his prima (Spanish cousin) Marina.

Back again

Tomás and Pilar are back from their holidays in Spain (looks like I won't have as much time to devote to my Beamish and Crawford site now!) and have brought back some pictures with them. This first is of Tomás in his paddling pool in Ronda - he loved it.
